Help
Short answers to the five questions we get asked most.
What do I get?
A weekly briefing for the industries you follow: the new businesses registered in them, scored for how ready they look to buy, with the trading address and the contact details we could find on the business's own website. The same list is in your account and in the email — there is nothing separate to log into. What each plan carries is set out on the pricing page.
When does it arrive?
Once a week. The paid feed carries the week's registrations as they happen; the free plan runs three days behind it. Briefings go out by email, and the list is on your account page from the same moment.
How are contact details marked?
Every phone number and email address carries a label saying how we got it. Verified means it was read off the business's own website. Likely means it was worked out rather than read — an email built from the business's own domain, or a number that follows a pattern — so treat it as a lead to check. A phone can be Verified while the email beside it is Likely: each one is labelled on its own, and the stronger word is never used for the weaker thing.
How do I cancel?
Cancel any time from your account — it opens the Stripe billing portal. The subscription ends at the close of the period you have already paid for, so access runs to then and you drop to the free plan after it. No phone call and no email.
How do I get a business removed?
Use the removal form and name the business. We suppress it across the product within 48 hours and confirm by email. You do not need to give a reason. That takes it out of our briefings and pages — it does not remove it from the public register we read from, which we do not control.
Accessibility
We work to WCAG 2.1 level AA. Every page is checked at two widths — 390px (phone) and 1440px (desktop) — and in both the light and the dark colour scheme, because a palette that passes in one can fail in the other.
What we check before a page ships:
- Contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body copy and 3:1 for large text, in both schemes.
- A visible focus ring on everything you can tab to.
- Every table has column headers, and every form field has a label.
- The skip-to-content link works from the first tab.
- Every flow is walked with the keyboard alone, with no pointer.
An automated pass runs over each page template: axe-core against WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 A and AA plus its best-practice rules, and the Lighthouse mobile accessibility score, taken as the middle of three runs. Automated testing only finds part of the problem — it cannot tell you that a heading sits at the wrong level or that an image description is wrong, and those are found by reading the page.
We are not claiming to be flawless, and this statement is our own rather than a third party’s audit. If something here gets in your way — a page you cannot read, a form you cannot fill in — email [email protected] and say what you were using. We treat it as a fault to fix.
