A help page

Five questions answered in full — what a briefing contains, when it arrives, how a contact detail is marked, how to cancel, and how to get a business removed — with a statement of the accessibility standard the site is held to. It is linked from the footer of every page.

Contact details say how they were found

Every phone number and email address is labelled. Verified means it was read off the business's own website. Likely means it was worked out rather than read — an address built from the business's own domain, or a number that follows a pattern — so it is a lead to check rather than a fact. Each detail is labelled on its own, and the stronger word is never used for the weaker thing.

Counts that are a floor say “about”

Where a figure is the number of records we could read rather than an exact total, the page now says “about” in front of it. A number that is not exact is no longer printed as though it were.

A page that does not exist looks like the site

An address that is not on the site now answers with our own page and navigation rather than a bare server error, so a mistyped link leaves you somewhere you can get back from.

The header knows whether you are signed in

The header used to work this out by asking the server after the page appeared. If that answer was slow, a signed-in customer could be shown a link to sign in. The answer is now part of the page itself, so the header is right from the first moment and nothing moves while it settles.

The business details on the pricing page

Our ABN is shown on the pricing page, the cancellation terms are stated in one line, and the price comparison names the tools and the published Australian entry prices it rests on.

The pricing page

Free, Solo and Pro set out in one column: what each plan carries, what it costs, and nothing that is not built yet. One price per plan is read from the same file the product uses, so the page cannot print a number the product does not charge.

One look across the site and the emails

The site, the transactional emails and the weekly briefing now share one shell and one set of typefaces, including a dark version of the emails for the mail clients that ask for one.

Something here not matching what you see? The help page covers how the product behaves, or reply to any briefing and we will look at it.
