What NewcoHunter does better
- Companies House publishes daily, and UK incorporations appear far faster than an Australian business name does. If you sell into the UK, that speed is real and we cannot match it here.
- Director details come with a UK incorporation. Companies House publishes officers at the point of registration; ASIC's business names register does not, and we do not hold an Australian officers extract.
What JustRegistered does differently
- Australian coverage. NewcoHunter is a UK product on UK data — it does not cover Australia at all, so for an Australian supplier the comparison is really "this or nothing".
- A readiness score. New registrations arrive in bulk; the useful question is which twenty of the two hundred are worth a call this week.
- GST registration status and entity type, on every row.
Choose NewcoHunter if
You sell into the United Kingdom. NewcoHunter is a UK product and does the UK job; we do not operate there and have no plans to.
What JustRegistered is for
One question: which businesses registered in Australia this week, in the industry you sell to, and which of them look ready to buy. Every registration is classified into one of twenty industries, checked against official public registers for entity type and GST status, and scored from 0 to 100 by a published method — no black box.
What it is not: a contact database. We do not sell phone numbers or email addresses. A business registered last week rarely has either published, sole-trader details are personal information under the Privacy Act, and the Spam Act prohibits sending to harvested-address lists. Where a business has a live public website, we link it.
Built on Australian Government open data: ASIC Business Names register and ABR, used under CC BY 3.0 AU.
Questions
Is NewcoHunter available in Australia?
No. NewcoHunter is built on Companies House, the UK register, and covers UK incorporations. There is no Australian equivalent inside it. If you are selling to new Australian businesses, it is not an option rather than a more expensive one.
Is JustRegistered available in the UK?
No, and we are not planning it. We are built on ASIC and the Australian Business Register. If you sell into the UK, NewcoHunter is doing a job we do not do.
How do the prices compare?
NewcoHunter publishes £29 a month, which is roughly A$55 at 2.0 GBP to the Australian dollar. JustRegistered Solo is A$29 a month and Pro is A$59. Both are monthly with no lock-in. Exchange rates move, so treat the conversion as indicative.
What does JustRegistered do that NewcoHunter does not?
A readiness score on every registration, GST status, and entity type. Those are Australian-specific: GST has no UK equivalent in the same form, and the ABN is what makes an Australian registration verifiable.
What does NewcoHunter do that JustRegistered does not?
It carries director details, because Companies House publishes company officers at incorporation and ASIC's business names register does not — we hold no Australian officers extract, so our director section is empty. And UK incorporations surface faster than Australian business names do, because Companies House publishes daily where ASIC publishes weekly. We do have a REST API and CRM webhooks on Pro.
Does JustRegistered include contact details?
Only what a business publishes on its own website, verified where possible. We record the phone, email and social profiles a business shows publicly. We do not buy contact data, we do not construct or infer an address, and we do not collect a sole trader's personal details — a business that publishes nothing stays blank. Most new registrations publish nothing, so treat this as a bonus on some rows rather than a contact database.
